3. SLCU Peace Caravan
The peace caravan is part of our plans this year to meet, discuss and share ideas with Sierra Leonean living and working in different municipalities of the country. The aims of this tour are:
- To discuss and understand individual and collective problems with members of the Sierra Leone Union in different communities;
- To cement relationship with the sister unions;
- To sensitize Sierra Leonean on the role, functions and projects of the SLCU.
The delegation hopes in the first place, to give a clear picture of the SLCU to Sierra Leone union members and secondly, prepared to discuss, guide and analyse information received during this tour. This information would be used for our future planning in organizing programs geared towards promoting and serving the needs of Sierra Leonean living both here and at home.
